Poem from Saolo's work:
I didn't ask you for anything,
I was different, I knew it
you woke me from that marvelous life,
I was in a beautiful bubble
you burst it without scruple,
there were four of you around me,
I was no match,
I hope you think about it today
because I have no regrets
you woke me up and I am grateful for it.
You won't have my hate, nor even my regrets.
An intimate text that tells of the moment when a bubble of carefree innocence brutally bursts.
The four black dots in the composition represent the four bullies mentioned in the poem.
They mark the canvas like an indelible trace of the past.
But around them, words continue to circulate, colors explode, lines intersect.
Painting becomes movement, reconstruction.
With Bully, I transform a painful experience into a gesture of resilience.
The work is not just about school bullying. It also speaks of the human capacity to transform wounds into strength and creative power.
